Hey there, I am Vaibhav, also known as Villustrate; an intuitive illustrator, embarked on a journey to inspire, be inspired and share my joy for creating dainty illustrations with the world. I have always been fascinated with traditional hand painted illustrations and paintings in this ever growing digital world, where you could fix any mistake or problem with a tap of 2 fingers on screen. It is my love for traditional painting style that has brought me to where I am today; It’s been a long journey.

After graduating as an applied/commercial artist (BFA), I started my journey with working at design and creative companies as a visualiser/storyboard artist/graphic designer for about 4 years. I liked the fact I was doing something creative but Alas! the creative satisfaction was nowhere to be found. Until I rediscovered my love and passion for traditional painting amidst Covid/pandemic and started painting almost everyday and posted my creations on social media which lead to massive exposure. I was able to quit my job and started my journey as a freelance illustrator, which gave me the freedom to choose to work from the vast array of different creative industries and at my own pace.

In my journey of 3 years of working as a freelance illustrator, I have worked and collaborated with a plethora of illustrious creative entrepreneurs and businesses, whether it’s creating bespoke wedding invites, product illustrations for brands, print/pattern designs for fashion/lifestyle labels, social media collaborations, editorial illustrations, painting commissions and a whole lot more. I have been very fortunate to be able to pursue my dream with the help of my loved ones and I am finally a fulfilled creative soul.
